From CiCi’s Cafe to Lady C’s
CiCi’s Cafe first opened its doors in Tarzana in 2006, built on a love for homemade recipes and heartfelt hospitality. From the very beginning, Chef CiCi introduced guests to a bold and ambitious vision—starting with what many thought was a “small” menu of eight pages, featuring 13 original, mouth-watering pancake creations. Among them was a dish that would soon capture the hearts of the local community and become a signature favorite: the beloved Tiramisu Pancakes.
As Chef CiCi witnessed the joy and smiles of her guests, her passion only grew stronger. Inspired by her customers, she continued to push creative boundaries, developing new and exciting dishes that would soon become cult favorites. Sensations followed—most notably the best-selling Green Tea Tiramisu Pancakes, the classic Dutch Baby, and the silky, indulgent Chocolate Velvet Pancakes. Over time, her ever-evolving menu became a true reflection of her imagination, dedication, and belief in endless possibilities.
Today, that creativity has blossomed into a menu of over 30 pages, offering more than 80 varieties of pancakes, French toast, waffles, and crêpes. CiCi’s Cafe was proudly featured on Localish’s Worth the Wait, where it was recognized as having the “Largest Menu in the World.” And if 80 pancakes sound impressive, guests were later introduced to the next big sensation—Chef CiCi’s fluffy Soufflé Pancakes, featured on ABC7’s Eye on LA.
Beyond breakfast, CiCi’s Cafe also offers a diverse selection of specialty lunch items, including pastas, salads, burgers, wraps, and sandwiches. In 2016, ten years after opening the original Tarzana location, Chef CiCi expanded her dream by opening a second location in Westlake Village.

In 2026, after two decades of unforgettable memories, CiCi’s Cafe entered a new chapter. While the name evolved, the heart remained the same. CiCi’s Cafe officially rebranded as Lady C’s at both the Tarzana and Westlake Village locations—continuing the same family ownership, recipes, team, and passion that guests have loved since day one.
Lady C’s proudly carries forward Chef CiCi’s legacy—serving the same joyful experiences, now under a new name, with the same soul.
